Upcoming Game Releases for Nintendo Switch 2

Katamari Series Expansion

On October 24, the Nintendo Switch 2 will welcome a new addition to the Katamari series, Once Upon a Katamari. This announcement was made during today's Nintendo Direct presentation, which also covered release dates, reveals, and updates for multiple other titles. Today's Direct spotlighted third - party developers, with numerous games set to debut ahead of the holiday season as Nintendo continues to expand its library for the new console.

Similar to previous installments in the series, players of Once Upon a Katamari will methodically roll up every object in sight, from furniture to people, amassing an ever - growing ball of debris. In this iteration, the King of All Cosmos has inadvertently destroyed Earth. As such, players will embark on a journey through different historical eras to restore both the planet and the stars. The game features online battles for up to four players and character customization options. Additionally, it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
